Rain or shine
the Festival is happening!
In case of rain the crafters will be sheltered in Torrey Hall. (Please refer to the top yellow arrow on the campus map.)
And the patriots and Acadia Frontiersmen are tough and will be in their tents.
So as one great American once said: "Be there or be square!"

American Legion Post 9 Hosts 4th Annual Margaretta Days Breakfast
Ephraim Johnson American Legion Post 9 for the fourth consecutive year is hosting a Margaretta Days breakfast, kicking off the historic occasion in the county seat.
“Every year we get more of a turnout,” says Lisa Berg, auxiliary president and the 2015 Volunteer of the Year recipient. “People just love it – and they come back and tell us so!”
Robert Coles, a World War II veteran and well-known Downeast as the region’s sole Pearl Harbor survivor, will also be on hand as in past years.
Post 9, one of the town’s largest and most loyal community contributors, donates thousands every year to the Machias area, including its food pantries, scholarships and donations to needy children and families.
The breakfast at the post will run from 7-9 a.m. on June 13, featuring blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage and muffins. Please drop by and get Margaretta Days 2015 off to a great start!
